Coco Coir Grow Bags Export from India

Coir grow bags are open-top bags filled with coir-pith growing medium, used as a ready-to-plant substrate in hydroponic and greenhouse systems. They are the standard format for high-density, controlled-environment cultivation of greenhouse vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers and soft fruits such as strawberries.

Grow bags are one of the fastest-growing coir formats as commercial growers move from soil to soilless production for higher, more consistent yields.

Open-top grow bags are available in 5 L, 10 L and 20 L volumes. A 10 L bag measures approximately 23 × 23 × 38 cm. The coir fill is supplied at an electrical conductivity below 0.7 (1:3 ratio) and a pH of 6–7, with moisture around 20%. Low-EC buffered fill is available on request for sensitive crops.

Bag dimensions, drainage holes and fill grade can be configured to your cultivation system.

Coir provides a stable root environment that resists compaction across crop cycles, keeping the root zone well aerated. It acts as a clean, inert canvas for liquid nutrient regimes, giving growers full control over feeding while avoiding the soil-borne pathogens associated with field production.

Because the medium is consistent bag to bag, irrigation and nutrient dosing can be standardised across an entire greenhouse.

Coir-based growing media are classed internationally as products of plant origin, so shipments are prepared to meet the biosecurity requirements of the destination country (for example USDA-APHIS, the EU and Australian authorities). Each consignment is accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate and the required fumigation or heat treatment.

Every shipment includes a certificate of analysis covering EC, pH and moisture, along with commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading.
