Why Powder Coating from India
Powder coating is India's most widely deployed industrial surface finishing process, with large automated lines operating in every major manufacturing cluster. The combination of cost-effective labour, competitive powder costs from local suppliers and modern automated lines produces powder coated components that are cost-competitive with any global origin.
Indian powder coating facilities supply finished components directly to European and American OEMs for agricultural machinery, electrical enclosures, HVAC equipment, commercial furniture, automotive accessories and construction equipment — eliminating the cost and lead time of sending unfinished parts overseas for coating.
Pre-Treatment — The Most Important Step
Powder coat adhesion and corrosion resistance are determined by pre-treatment quality, not just the powder applied. Our manufacturing partners use multi-stage pre-treatment systems:
Iron Phosphate — Standard 5-stage system. Suitable for indoor applications with 500-hour salt spray requirement.
Zinc Phosphate — Premium 7-stage system for maximum corrosion protection. Required for outdoor applications with 750-1000 hour salt spray specification. Agricultural equipment, construction machinery, outdoor furniture.
Colour Matching and Specials
All RAL colours are available as standard. Custom colour matching to customer samples or Pantone references is available with a minimum 3-day lead time. Special effects include textured powders, metallic powders, clear powder for aluminium and anti-graffiti powders for architectural applications.
Documentation
Powder Coat Certificate with thickness readings, Adhesion Test Report, Salt Spray Test Certificate (where required), RAL colour match confirmation, Pre-treatment Process Record, Dimensional Inspection Report, Certificate of Origin.
