Materials and Components
Aluminium Structural Components — Airframe brackets, ribs, spars, bulkheads, access panels. 7075-T6 and 2024-T3 are the most common alloys. Tight tolerance milled components from 5-axis machining centres.
Titanium Components — Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5) structural components for high strength-to-weight applications. Engine mounts, landing gear components, fasteners. Requires specialist machining.
Inconel Hot-Section Parts — Inconel 718 and 625 for engine components operating in high-temperature environments. Combustion liner brackets, turbine shroud segments.

First Article Inspection (FAI)
Full First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102 is standard for all new aerospace components. This includes: Design Documentation Review, Material and Process Certification Review, Dimensional Inspection Results (100% characteristic measurement), Functional Test Results (where applicable) and Signature and Approval Records from quality authority.

AS9100D Certificate of Conformance, First Article Inspection Report (AS9102), Material Test Certificate with full traceability to heat/lot, NADCAP special process certificates, NDT Reports, Dimensional Inspection Report (CMM), Certificate of Origin.
