India's Non-Basmati Rice Export
India is the world's largest exporter of non-basmati rice, accounting for over 30 million MT of production annually. IR64 is a semi-dwarf, high-yielding variety with excellent cooking characteristics — firm, non-sticky grains with good elongation. It is grown primarily in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
The parboiled form (Sella) is strongly preferred by buyers in Sub-Saharan Africa, West Africa and the Middle East due to its extended shelf life of 18–24 months and firm texture that survives long shipping and storage.
Available Grades
5% Broken — Premium grade for quality-conscious retail and food service. 25% Broken — Standard commercial grade, highest volume traded globally. 100% Broken — Used in rice flour, brewing and animal feed applications.
